Workshops - Sculpting Workshop May 2nd-3rd 2026

This is an in-person two days hands-on sculpting workshop on May 2nd and 3rd from 9am to 4pm. An email will be sent with the material list and general information!

Learn how to sculpt birds, frogs and chameleons and combine them with functional ware. You’ll be working on three projects and learning different sculpting techniques. We’ll also touch on altering and carving as it’s part of sculpting.

On the first day you will be making a bird cup and a monstera leaf with a frog. On the second day you’ll be making a chameleon mug. These are my most popular pieces and I’ll show you all my tips and tricks and you’ll learn a ton in only two days. 
All the clay and wheel thrown pieces will be included. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

I can only accommodate 10 attendees at once. If I sell out, there will be other dates added.

If you’re coming from out of state the closest airport is Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson.

For accommodations: 

I suggest the Holiday Inn Express in Bethlehem which is about 4 miles away (the closest hotel), but if you’ve found others or Airbnb closer, that’s even better. The Holiday Inn have good rates for now for the workshop dates but they can change fast and at times double the price. I suggest booking your stay soon, as you can always cancel if you find something better later. Winder GA is small town and we’re very limited on hotels.
